I just released an update to this component. The truth is that it may have warranted the 2.4 moniker, but I decided to just use 2.3c instead. A lot of international users were having problems with special characters in the XML file, so I went back to the old style XML and hopefully that'll fix the problem. I also added a few new features. The most noticeable being the ability to put the minimap (overview map) into the corner of your map. Secondly is the ability to create draggable markers. This is nice when you've got two markers on top of each other or if you just want to make a more interactive map.
